Seven Oaks Farm owner and trainer, Maureen Zahler, has had extensive experience in the equine community, first as a junior rider, then as an adult, and now as a professional in the industry.  She has had the opportunity to ride at many levels and disciplines including competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation divisions, as well as schooling in dressage.

In the desire to become a more well rounded individual, Maureen attended one the countries top colleges for equine studies, The University of Findlay, in Findlay, OH.  There she earned bachelor of science degrees in both English Equestrian Studies and Business Management.  It was at the university that her beliefs were confirmed that you never stop learning, a value that she continues to impress upon all of her students today.

As a professional, Maureen prides herself in matching riders with horses, thus forming symbiotic partnerships.  She has started many young and green horses, and watched them flourish and exceed expectations, with most moving up the rankings in both local and national horse shows.

Maureen makes a point to first and foremost create a safe environment for all her students and their families, as well as for the horses.  In doing so, she also recognizes that a fun environment makes for a more enjoyable atmosphere to learn in. The goal of Seven Oaks Farm is for every person who walks through their door to feel like they are being welcomed into a second family.
